Position Summary :
The world’s largest manufacturer of conveyorized car wash equipment and controls systems is seeking for a Technical Project Manager to grow in a diverse role with an organization that is expanding rapidly. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and driving the delivery of Software / Hardware Development projects that will provide exceptional business value to users. As a PM you will need to organize, identify risks and effectively communicate both internally and externally. You will also work closely with upper management team to provide guidance on the scope and direction, ensuring projects are on schedule, and collaborate with other departments for support. To be successful, you must have the ability to drive technical project planning and execution to ensure alignment with executive leadership, stakeholders, and business units.
Experience and Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
5 years of experience managing projects using formal project management disciplines and methodologies.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and processes.
Knowledge in Agile project management methodologies and tools.
Oversee technical projects from inception through completion, ensuring they meet the defined standards for scope, budget, and timeline
Monitor project progress against the plan, anticipate potential issues, and recommend corrective actions while keeping stakeholders informed.
Identify gaps during the process and bring suggestions, implementations, strategies, and action plans to the table to support the end goal.
Provide accurate and timely reports on the program's status throughout its life cycle.
Collaborate with the project team to identify project requirements and allocate resources appropriately.
Keep track of project budget and expenses and help with resource utilization monitoring.
Define the technical project scopes aligned with high-level organizational objectives and ensure regular and timely delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
Establish and manage project management processes, implement best practices, and actively promote continuous process improvement.
Actively participate in project meetings, document action items, and follow up on assigned tasks.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas of inefficiency and proposing solutions.
