JOB SUMMARY: The Facility Services Coordinator will work in partnership with Security, Guest Services, REV Entertainment, vendors, contractors and other internal departments to provide world class service to fans, guests, and staff for MLB baseball games and other events at Globe Life Field, Choctaw Stadium, and all other Texas Rangers properties. Duties include, but not limited to, assist on the daily management of the Facility Services department, administrative tasks, coordinating venue facilities requests, ordering supplies, assisting with the management and coordination of facilities vendors and contractors, and other assignments as needed. The Coordinator should be prepared to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Create and manage work orders in 24/7 facilities management software.
Assists with daily, pre & post-game inspection reports.
Assists with creating daily and event cleaning standards and procedures.
Assists with the review, distribution, and purchase of supplies and products.
Assists in special projects, events, and facility equipment improvements.
Must be well organized and possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Coordinates with third party vendors on stand-by services needed for major events, including scheduling and post-event analysis.
Coordinate and supervise facilities staff, seasonal, and third party staff members.
Assist with training and scheduling staff.
Support game day operations by providing dispatch support.
Assist with providing reports, cost analysis, and data metrics relating to waste management, recycling, and sustainability efforts.
Maintain a professional working relationship with upper management, all departments and staff, vendors and guests.
All other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual
Efficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other computer software skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
Team player.
Detail oriented.
Prior experience in office and/or facility janitorial services.
Flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Stand; walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk and hear, lift and/move up to 35 pounds, carry 25 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is on call 24/7 and will require work to be performed on weekends, nights and holidays as needed.
Outdoors and office environment.
Must be able to lift 35 pounds and move with large bulk items.
Requires long periods of time on feet.
Ability to walk, sit, climb, crawl, kneel, squat, bend and extend arms and legs fully.
Ability to use hands to manipulate and effectively use tools and controls.
No fear of heights.
