JOB SUMMARY: To assist in the general maintenance of Globe Life Field in Arlington and the surrounding areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Knowledge of general construction repairs to include but not limited to the following:
Acoustical ceilings
Metal
Sheet rock
Paint
Wood
Stadium seating
Concrete
Doors/locks
Overhead/coiling roll-up doors
Temporary stair setup and removal for events
Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on maintaining regular records of maintenance and repairs
Notifies supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed
Strong ability to work independently or with a team
Vast experience working with power tools
All other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Ability to work independently without supervision
Ability to work a flexible schedule including but not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays
Satisfactory work record
Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools
High mental and visual effort required
Lift training and/or certifications are preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position will require work to be performed on weekends, event nights and holidays as needed.
Outdoors and office environment
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move with large bulk items
Requires long periods of time on feet
Ability to walk, sit, climb, crawl, kneel, squat, bend and extend arms and legs fully
Ability to use hands to manipulate and effectively use tools and controls
Must be able to work with chemicals and fumes, following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate protective gear at all times."
