Job Title: Wireless Field Installer/Technician

Overview: As a Wireless Field Installer/Technician at Rango Broadband, your primary responsibility will be installing services at customers' residences. This includes mounting radio antennas on roofs or poles, setting up Wi-Fi distribution equipment indoors, and handling cable connections in attics and crawl spaces. Troubleshooting internet connectivity issues and ensuring seamless communication with schedulers are also essential aspects of the role. Additionally, you may be involved in the construction of new service towers as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install radio antennas and Wi-Fi equipment at customers' homes
• Handle cable connections in attics and crawl spaces
• Troubleshoot internet connectivity issues
• Drive company vehicles and use ladders to access rooftops
• Communicate effectively with schedulers to coordinate job appointments
• Offer assistance in the construction of new service towers

Additional Information:

• Comprehensive training and certifications provided
• Ongoing training both on the job and in-house
• Prior experience in Wireless Internet, Satellite, or Cable TV installation preferred but not required
• Basic construction experience desired but not mandatory
• Provided equipment includes take-home vehicle, primary tools, laptop, phone, and daily uniform
• This is a full-time employed position, not contract work
• Some overtime may be required
• Employees are eligible for free internet service

Requirements:

• Comfortable with heights and climbing structures
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Clean driving record
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with customers
• Must pass a drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 1 years of experience in related network operations or engineering roles
• 1 years of experience with RF theory, radio, and/or microwave communications equipment
