Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Technician to join our team. As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to mechanical repairs and maintenance. This is a hands-on role that requires heavy lifting and strong mechanical knowledge.
- Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
- Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
- Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications.
- Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing.
- Troubleshoot light and heavy-duty trucks
- Making sure our DOT trucks are in compliance.
- Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements
- Three (3) years mechanical diagnosis and repair
- Demonstrated experience with servicing vehicles
- A valid Driver’s License
- DOT experience
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
- Must be dependable and report to work on time
- Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., safely climb ladders, and regularly walk on uneven ground
