Description
Purpose : This recruiter position will involve recruiting and enrolling students at Ranken Technical College. The focus of this role is to increase enrollment at Ranken's St. Louis campus through both on and off-campus recruiting activities throughout Illinois / St : Louis Metro and surrounding areas.
This role will focus on recruiting activities geared toward high school students and those transitioning from the military but may include other non-traditional groups as well. In this job, you'll use your knowledge of Ranken's technical programs (don't worry-we'll teach you what you don't know yet!) to increase awareness of the incredible career opportunities that are available in technical and traditional trades and to help potential students recognize Ranken as a path to a solid future.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Engage with high school staff and military personnel to coordinate a full calendar of planned recruiting activities.
- Recruit at high schools within the designated territory (Illinois / St. Louis Metro Area), including presenting to groups of students and meeting with educators / guidance counselors to build awareness of Ranken as a post-graduation option.
- Attend college fairs, career fairs, and other recruiting events to connect with potential students and their influencers.
- Visit area military bases and attend military career fairs / college fairs to build awareness among those separating from the military.
- Engage with potential students through consistent follow-up via phone calls, emails, and texts to educate on Ranken's offerings, build upon their interest, and encourage enrollment.
- Guide interested students through the enrollment process from their first interaction all the way to the start of their first class through quality communication and follow-up.
- Build relationships with educators, guidance counselors, technical instructors, military personnel, and others of influence.
- Conduct campus tours for individuals as well as groups of potential students. Assisting potential students through the enrollment process, assuring they are authorized to attend class, and confirming start.
