JOB OPENING: Assistant Food Services Director/Custodian – Part-Time or Full-Time – person would become a member of our M-C-K Team (Maintenance-Custodial-Kitchen)

QUALIFICATIONS: Team player, willing to learn, enjoys working with kids, would represent the District well, and possesses or eventually possesses the Food Manager Licensure in order to lead the Kitchen when needed.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Typically, during the School Year-M-F 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. *Flexibility for early or later starting time possibilities exist. Typically, during the Summer-M-F 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (30-minute duty free lunch). *Flexibility for early or later starting time possibilities exist and additional summer flexibility exists as well. If employment preference is part-time, it’s anticipated that the District would be seeking a minimum of approximately 28 hours per week during the school year and approximately 20 hours per week during the summer. The District does have more flexibility with the summer hours.

INFORMATION: It’s anticipated that the beginning hourly rate range for this position will be ($16.05-$17.20) with the final starting hourly rate to be discussed with the selected candidate based on all factors involved including expertise, skill, and prior experience. It’s anticipated that this person will work closely with our Director of Facilities and our Food Services Director/Head Custodian regarding a daily work plan (i.e. daily plan based on where the person is needed the most each day). It’s anticipated to be a split of duties during the year and then mostly all custodial work during the summer.
