Thank you for your interest in our full time, assistant management level Pharmacy Technician / Pharmacist Intern / Pharmacist, Community Residency role.

You will be joining an over 89 year old, independent, family owned, local, community pharmacy with development plans in the works.
We have served our community successfully for years and are excited to find the right person (a Pharmacy Tech or a Resident Pharmacist Type / Pharmacist Intern) to learn the business, add their skills, and support the expansion and development of our increasing clinical services, POC testing & treatments on site, collaborations, travel emphasis, vaccinations, and more.
We also have an additional 2000 square feet of vanilla space that we have exciting plans in the works for. You can use your vision, creative insights, and clinical knowledge in the development of something truly new in healthcare!

Initially, your responsibilities will include learning key operational skills and duties that have grounded our years of success and the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
We are looking for a person who runs into an issue and graciously problem solves and encourages positivity within the team. Accuracy, patient care, and deep consideration of each patient interaction is essential with every interaction, and we are committed to preventing audits with 100% commitment to accuracy.
Additionally, an essential component to this role is organization, time management, taking charge of tasks, and problem solving. You will act as a key leader within the team, assistant, pharmacy manager (if this role turns out to be appropriate for you).
Day to day pharmacy operations. managerial support, and open, honest communications are essential, as you will be leading compliance, credentialing, medicare & medicaid billing, immunization clinics., and meeting all commitments of exceptional pharmacy operations, leadership, policy development, and internal consultation. If you are not up for a challenging role with high expectations, this is not the role for you.
AUDITS. If you are not fully capable of expecting, maintaining, and committed to 100% accuracy in every aspect of rx filling, this is not the role for you. We expect 100% accuracy. If you are weak in an area or perhaps don't know how to do a calculation or task, that's ok...just ask. It's not a problem to ask more than once either. You must be able to identify areas in which you can improve, learn, and accept feedback graciously. If you are not able to make changes or become set in your ways or habits that are not accurate, this is not the job for you.
Audits and errors, inaccuracies. When an inaccuracy or error is identified, your reaction should be concern about the patient or affected result, immediately. You must be problem solving oriented and not be defensive or accusatory (we work together as a team and support one another).

- Current, Unrestricted WA Pharmacy Technician License / WA Pharmacist Intern License / Pharmacist License (Residency)

Responsibilities include :
Is responsible for follow-up of all non-discretionary issues related to filling prescriptions with Pharmacist oversight.
Professionalism, & Communication are key to success in this position :
Overall :
Store hours are M-F 9 am till 6pm & Sat 10 am till 5 pm
Schedule :
Varies and includes 4 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts, and other Mon-Sat (some Sundays and other special event days). Ideally the schedule is approx 9 am till 5 pm and occasional Sats 10 am till 2 pm.
Regular meetings, performance evaluations, communication, accuracy and precision in preforming tasks are required. In addition, the candidate must strive to build the business and adapt with kindness and flexibility. The candidate will need to adhere to feedback, high standards, and policies and procedures.
