Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator at Ranon Logistics Network you will play a critical role in our daily operations by safely and efficiently operating a forklift to transport materials and products within our facility. You will work closely with our warehouse team to ensure the smooth flow of materials and maintain a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and transport materials, products, and supplies within the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas using a forklift, ensuring that cargo is properly secured and balanced.
- Conduct pre-operational checks of the forklift, including inspecting for any damage or defects, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain and organize the warehouse, ensuring that materials are stored in designated locations and are easily accessible.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Keep accurate records of inventory movements, including documenting quantities, locations, and transactions.
- Participate in regular training and safety meetings to stay updated on best practices and safety procedures.
- Assist in general warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, and assisting with inventory counts when needed.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with aisle master forklift and other forklifts like (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software.
- Basic computer skills.
Hours: Monday- Friday ( 9am-6pm)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
