What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Project Specialist position at RANPAK?
Summary
The HR Project Specialist will be responsible for the design, communication, and implementation of HR related projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Create and manage Performance Management communications,training, and implementation
· Review, update and implement company handbook and policies
· Research, implement, and manage global recognition program.
· Collaborate with department managers to conduct a full review of all company job descriptions and update to new consistent format
· Design and present quarterly trainings to HR department and other departments as requested
· Create and send New Hire / Welcome Announcement emails on a weekly basis
· Implement and develop content to increase communications via rotational TV screens and/or company Intranet
· Assist with benefits, 401k, and other strategic communications/training needs
· Lead engagement initiatives including conducting employee surveys
· Participation on (or leading) Engagement Activities/Appreciation Committees
· May assist with community involvement initiatives and other similar items designed to improve engagement, communication and assist the HRD/HR department
· Other duties as assigned by HRD
Qualifications
· Prior experience in project-based initiatives required
· Strong problem solving and critical thinking ability
· Undergraduate degree preferred
· Strong verbal and written communication skills (Communication background a plus)
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

· Choice of sitting or standing or alternating between them (stand-up desk optional)
· Keyboarding/typing on a computer for extended periods of time
· Moderate noise, i.e., phones, printer, light foot traffic
