Rantec Microwave Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Inspection Specialist to perform mechanical inspection on machined components and complex assemblies, as well as brazed assemblies.

Job Duties:
- Operate a PC with Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Read, interpret, and follow mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and quality procedures.
- Program and operate CMM machines using PCDMIS software.
- Use handheld inspection equipment to ensure part compliance (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Must be capable of performing all manners of mechanical inspection, utilizing all types of handheld equipment.
- Write/modify programs and operate CMM machine utilizing PCDMIS software.
- Understand and interpret geometric tolerancing.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Minimum 5 Years mechanical inspection experience including operating and programming/modifying programs on PCDMIS-based CMM machines.
- Dip Braze knowledge a plus
