Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Mobile Property Maintenance Manager who enjoys being on the road and working independently. This field-based role requires regular travel to rental properties throughout Memphis to perform inspections, minor repairs, and occasional tours with prospective tenants. Ideal candidates are those who take pride in keeping properties in top condition and are comfortable navigating different locations daily. Key Responsibilities
- Drive to rental properties throughout Memphis to perform routine walkthrough inspections and ensure properties meet quality and safety standards.
- Perform simple to moderate repairs including (but not limited to): patching drywall, replacing fixtures, door adjustments, minor plumbing, and touch-up painting.
- Coordinate with external contractors for more complex repairs or renovations when needed.
- Tour rental properties with potential renters, highlighting property features and answering questions to help close lease agreements.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and supplies.
- Ensure properties are clean, secure, and move-in ready for new tenants.
- Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and emergency calls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proven experience in property maintenance, construction, or related field.
- Ability to diagnose and repair general maintenance issues (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in working with tenants and prospective renters.
- Tech-savvy enough to use mobile apps or tools for work orders, scheduling, and communication.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with rental properties or in a property management environment.
- Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws and building codes is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23,000.00 - $27,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
