What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator position at Rapat Corporation?
Rapat Corporation in Hawley, MN is looking for a Fabricator to join our team!
Uses general hand tools to set up, run, troubleshoot and operate various equipment; laser, press brake, saw, robotic beam line, etc.
What You'll Do:
- Read and understand blueprints
- Observes/verifies piece to specifications
- Perform tooling changes
- Perform daily inspections and complete routine maintenance
- Assist maintenance/service technicians with troubleshooting and basic repairs
- Prepare/stage parts for the next operation
- Ability to operate a variety of machinery - shear, angle shear, drill press, forklift, press break, punch press, etc.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of related education
- Previous forklift and overhead crane experience
- Knowledge of NC and CNC equipment
- Read and understand blueprints, job orders and work instructions
Shift:
- Full-time
- Mon -Thu 6am - 4:30pm Fri OT as needed
- 45-hour standard work week
