Certification Details
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- TNCC (REQUIRED)
- Beds: 39 – MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU – mixed unit
- Minimum Experience: 2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred
- Patient Types: Complex ICU patients ranging from Surgical, Medical, Cardiac, Neuro and Trauma
- Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) – acuity dependent
- Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management.
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
- 2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred
- Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility.
- Weekend rotation: Every other
- No call schedule
- No RTO during holidays
- Up to 7 days off – must extend to accommodate a full 13-week contract.
- Epic experience required for ED & ICU
- CNA: 1-2 Nurse Aide’s per unit mobility float aide
- Charge nurse: 2 CRN’s oversee all ICUs
- Scrub Color: Navy
