Job Details

  • Beds : 39 – MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU – mixed unit
  • Minimum Experience : 2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred
  • Patient Types : Complex ICU patients ranging from Surgical, Medical, Cardiac, Neuro and Trauma
  • Patient Ratios : RN : 1 : 1, 1 : 2, 1 : 3 (rare) – acuity dependent
  • Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management.

    • Job Requirements

  • Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
  • 2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred
  • Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility.

    • Schedule Information

  • Weekend rotation : Every other
  • No call schedule
  • No RTO during holidays
  • Up to 7 days off – must extend to accommodate a full 13-week contract.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Epic experience required for ED & ICU
  • CNA : 1-2 Nurse Aide’s per unit mobility float aide
  • Charge nurse : 2 CRN’s oversee all ICUs
