Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS TNCC (required prior to arrival) Job Details ICU nursing position at Rapid City Hospital, Monument Health 39 beds in mixed unit (MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU) Complex ICU patients including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma Patient ratios : RN 1 : 1, 1 : 2, 1 : 3 (acuity dependent) Epic experience required Comfortable working a 48hr / week contract Job Requirements 2 years of ICU experience preferred (excluding travel experience) Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility Minimum one prior travel assignment required Schedule Information Weekend rotation : Every other No on-call schedule No RTO during holidays Approval of time off : Up to 7 days, must extend to accommodate a full 13-week contract No RTO during Sturgis Bike Rally (first 3 weeks in August) Unit Specific Information Patient types include complex ICU patients with heavy trauma population Cardiac experience preferred but not required Experience with IV medications, hemodynamic lines, ventilator management, and telemetry required Additional Details Free parking available Scrub color : Navy
