Skills required : Must care for couplets, IV starts, cervical checks, phlebotomy, magnesium sulfate, blood administration, insulin, circulate C-sections, C-section recovery care
Charting System : EPIC
Floating : Required to work Postpartum / Couplet care throughout the contract
Orientation : 4 days with preceptor – 3 in L&D and 1 in PP
Job Requirements
Required : BLS, NRP
Preferred : ACLS, certification in inpatient obstetrics, electronic fetal monitoring, or inpatient antepartum
Schedule Information
Shift Times : 12-hour shifts, 0630 / 1830, variable shifts, must work Nights / Days throughout contract
