Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)

Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates, completes, and provides supervision for the primary operational functions of Medical Staff Services, including credentialing, privileging, proctorship, and orientation.
- Serves as a resource for the VPMA, Medical Staff, and others, providing expertise on regulatory/accreditation standards.
- Applies knowledge of regulatory/accreditation standards to maintain Medical Staff and Hospital compliance.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in healthcare.
- 1 year of experience in Medical Staff Services.
- 1 year of experience in Regulatory Guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in healthcare.
- 2 years of experience in Medical Staff Services.
- 2 years of experience in Regulatory Guidelines.
- AAS degree in Healthcare or General Studies.
- Experience with EchoCredentialing software.
- Previous experience working in a Joint Commission accredited and/or NCQA accredited facility.
Work Environment:
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
- No weekends.
- No holidays.
- Business Casual Attire.
