Job Summary : The Rapid City Rush Hockey Team is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Corporate Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. The Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue through corporate partnerships and sponsorships. This individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing the team's corporate relationships, growing brand visibility, and providing exceptional customer service to corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities :

Corporate Sales & Partnerships :

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to identify, target, and secure corporate sponsorships and partnerships.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local and national businesses to drive new revenue opportunities.
  • Customize sponsorship packages to meet the specific needs of clients, ensuring maximum value for both parties.

Sales & Revenue Tracking :

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals on a regular basis.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales progress, key metrics, and performance outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Flexibility and Game-Day Operations :

  • Be available to assist in the execution of corporate events and VIP experiences during home games and other team events.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate game schedules and special events. (36 Home Games in a season, plus numerous Corporate, Community, and Ticketing events throughout the season.)
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sports Management, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate sales, sponsorship, or business development, preferably in sports or entertainment.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate, influence, and build relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of the Rapid City community and sports industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by game schedules and events.
