About the Service Advisor Role: As a Service Advisor at Rapid Diesel, you’ll play a key role in building relationships with our customers while managing the service process from start to finish. You’ll work closely with our skilled technicians to ensure customer vehicles are well-maintained and repaired, while providing outstanding service that keeps our customers coming back.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers, listen to their needs, and provide clear, professional advice on services and repairs.
• Work Order Management: Create accurate work orders, communicate updates to customers, and ensure timely completion of services.
• Problem-Solving: Assist customers with troubleshooting, offer solutions, and provide transparent explanations about necessary repairs and services.
• Sales and Recommendations: Upsell additional services and recommend preventative maintenance to keep vehicles in top condition.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate service records, handle invoicing, and follow up on completed services.

What We’re Looking For: To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Previous Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role, ideally in the automotive or diesel industry.
• Technical Knowledge: A passion for learning about vehicle maintenance and repair. Experience with diesel engines is a plus, but not required.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with both customers and team members.
• Organizational Skills: Able to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: A customer-first attitude, with the ability to provide clear solutions and resolve issues quickly.
