What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Sprinkler Inspector position at Rapid Fire Safety & Security LLC?
RapidFire Safety & Security is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical troubleshooting background, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
The sprinkler technician will be required to travel to multiple customers’ locations daily and be responsible for inspecting/ testing fire sprinkler systems, emergency exit lights, fire hydrants and fire pumps. Must be able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions – Climbing ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, working within ducts, and crawl spaces, etc.
Qualifications:
Be available to work Monday - Friday.
Have great communications skills both verbal and written.
Mechanical Skills.
Be able to work alone and as part of a team.
Stay organized.
Take detailed notes.
Be versed in NFPA 25, the Standard for water-based fire protection systems
A valid Diver License with a clean record.
Must be able to pass a background test.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
