Job Duties
· Reviews work order report to determine specific parts to be hung in the most efficient manner
· Follow procedure in hanging parts to ensure the most efficient operation of the paint line.
· Understands general pre-prep operation, includes viewing product for defects before entering wash and paint booth
· Assures work area is kept clean and neat
·Will be required to participate in quality programs and initiatives
· Prep all parts (Plugs and Racking parts)
· Troubleshoot problems as they occur
· May be trained as a backup sprayer
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
·To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
·Needs to be able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, work rules, and operating and maintenance instructions.
·Basic Math Skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide, fractions and decimals)
·Skilled in using digital tools and systems
·Needs to be able to communicate effectively with fellow team members
· Ability to work overtime when approved and scheduled by your supervisor
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education
· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Experience
· 1-3 years experience in a Manufacturing environment (preferred)
· Previous powder coat experience (preferred)
