Rapid Oil Change, a family-owned and operated business since 1983, is seeking a Lower (Pit) Technician to contribute to the smooth operations of our shop. As a Pit Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to each vehicle, working closely with the Hood Technician and reporting to the Floor Supervisor.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Hood Technician to perform oil changes and other necessary services on vehicles.
- Deliver clear and effective oral communication in a dynamic shop environment.
- Provide technical information to assist the Hood Technician in communicating with customers.
- Demonstrate physical dexterity for efficient task execution.
- Uphold company policies and procedures for customer safety and satisfaction.
- Conduct quality checks and maintain fluid levels in vehicles.
- Identify and report vehicle damage or fluid leaks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical competence.
- Adhere to ethical standards and foster a respectful work environment.
