Experienced Framer / Carpenter

Job Description:

As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings, including walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all structures are built according to specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine framing requirements.
• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other materials to create the framework for buildings.
• Install windows, doors, and other structural components as required.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Work with other team members, including carpenters and supervisors, to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Inspect and replace damaged or worn framing materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Framer or in a similar role in construction.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training in carpentry or a related field.
• Experience in both residential and commercial framing.
