We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled SolidWorks Designer/Technician to join our team. If you have experience in creating technical drawings, reverse engineering parts, and ensuring high-quality results, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Utilize SolidWorks to create and modify technical drawings and 3D models.
- Reverse engineer parts and create accurate designs based on existing products.
- Produce detailed technical drawing packages for manufacturing and production.
- Interpret and apply blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings in design and production processes.
- Use hand inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot design or production issues as they arise.
- Maintain focus on quality and attention to detail while adhering to processes and instructions.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment, and respond to shifting production priorities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate (vocational or technical training in machining is a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years of SolidWorks experience.
- Strong ability to reverse engineer parts.
- Proficient in creating technical drawing packages using SolidWorks.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) to ensure accuracy in part dimensions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Pay is negotiable and will be reflective of level of experience.
