Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Technician to oversee operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and HVAC, along with excellent customer service skills. This role requires the ability to work with both low and high voltage systems while ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of technicians in daily operations and maintenance tasks.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to support production processes.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, including low and high voltage components.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices in industrial maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any technical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Foster a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting safety training sessions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or similar environment.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and practices.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, low voltage, and high voltage electrical systems.
- Excellent command of the English language for effective communication with team members and customers.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client needs professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications in electrical or industrial maintenance preferred but not mandatory.
- Military experience is a plus but not required.
