Position Overview :
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Communications Specialist to develop and deliver clear, engaging cybersecurity awareness content for diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical writing, cybersecurity risk communication, and content development for security awareness programs. This role is remote, but preference will be given to candidates based in North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create cybersecurity awareness materials, including newsletters, bulletins, and presentations.
- Develop communication strategies to educate staff on cybersecurity risks, best practices, and policies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into accessible content.
- Manage cybersecurity awareness campaigns and monitor their effectiveness.
- Ensure messaging aligns with organizational security policies and compliance requirements.
- Maintain consistency in messaging across internal and external cybersecurity communications.

This position is onsite at the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building in Washington, D.C. Telework may be considered on a case-by-case basis with approval from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and appropriate Government Task Leads (GTLs).
