Duties

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced analytical models using machine learning frameworks to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility for analysis.
• Utilize SQL and Hadoop for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources.
• Conduct data mining activities to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Implement natural language processing techniques to enhance data interpretation and usability.
• Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on best practices in coding (Python, Java) and model development.
• Communicate findings effectively through visualizations and presentations to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database management and querying.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools.
• Understanding of natural language processing techniques is a plus.
• Proficient in data mining methodologies and statistical analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
