Job Description
Rapides Primary Health Care Center is looking for a dentist who’s primary job is to prevent and treat gum disease and promote oral health by educating patients on oral hygiene, performing screening for oral health issues, and performing procedures.
Responsibilities:
· Provide oral hygiene education
· Perform cleanings as needed
· Provide oral health screenings
· Review x-rays
· Provide preventive treatments and procedures i.e. fillings and extractions
· Document patient care in the medical record
· Review dental and health history
· Prescribe the appropriate medication, as needed.
Requirements:
· Graduated with a bachelor’s degree at a minimum in a science related field
· After completing a bachelor degree, you must have applied and completed an accredited dental school residency program.
· Possess a Doctor of Dentistry Degree (DDS)
· Possess an unrestricted Medical License, CDS, and DEA
· Maintain the appropriate CPR Certification
· The ability to see all patients regardless of age.

- No nights
