Job Details
Hospital: Rapides Regional Medical Center, Location: Alexandria, Louisiana, Type of Equipment: Ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, Balloon pumps, ventriculostomy drains, glucometers.
Patient Ratios: 2:1, Unit staffing description: RNs and Unit secretary/COVID runner. Total care is provided by RNs.
Unit Specific Information
Shifts and Scheduling
All nursing shifts are twelve hours from 7 to 7; every other weekend.
Requirements
Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients, ICU experience, Positive attitude, Flexibility, Teamwork, Desire for excellence, Self-motivated, Good communication and people skills, Ability to work in a diverse environment.
Advanced Skills
Ventilator management, critical care drip knowledge, thorough and accurate assessment skills, proficient knowledge with cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems, and Don and Doff of PPE.
Additional Details
Nationally certified staff, highly tenured nursing staff, Self-scheduling within certain guidelines, iMobile technology, Cares for ICU COVID-19 patients.
