Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details Rapides Regional Medical Center, through the efforts of its associate employees and physicians, will provide high quality, efficient and compassionate health care services for our patients and community. Licensed for 328 beds and fully accredited by The Joint Commission. Pathways to Excellence Certified. Certified Stroke Center. Certified Chest Pain Center. Level II Trauma Center. Job Requirements Must have : Positive attitude, flexibility, dependability, teamwork, self-motivation, good communication and people skills, desire for excellence, accountability, ability to multitask, ability to deal with stressful situations. Strong nursing background and knowledge, thorough assessment skills, attention to details and condition changes. Advanced skills needed : Telemetry rhythm interpretation. Schedule Information 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend, holidays required as well. All nurses float to other units as needed. Unit Specific Information Unit Name : 4 South Number of Beds : 36 Patient Ratios : 1 : 6 Type of equipment : Telemetry for each room with monitors in the stations, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, bladder scanner. Documentation system : Meditech.
