Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nurse Manager will be in charge of the daily operations in providing care to NICU, Pedi and PICU patients; manages the provision of adequate and competent staffing; addresses any issues that affect desired patient outcomes; ensures departmental compliance with regulatory and The Joint Commission requirements; monitors and adheres to annual hospital operating budget; implements cost-effective strategies in staffing and supply management decisions; assists staff in providing patient care and services as needed.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of a Nursing Program from an accredited school; BSN required
  
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana
• Five years nursing experience in Neonatal services, Pediatrics and/or Pediatric ICU
  
• CPR for Healthcare Providers to be completed within 30 days of hire
  
• ACLS to be completed within 180 days of hire
  
• Neonate Resuscitate and STABLE to be completed within 180 days of hire.
