Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Telemetry for a 13-week travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This position offers a highly competitive pay package and an opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
- Administer medications and perform routine procedures as needed
- Document patient conditions and treatments in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care
Requirements:
Active RN license (LA or Compact State)
Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience
BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA required)
Previous travel experience preferred but not required
