Position Title: Fire Sprinkler Fitter/Foreman
Reports To: Branch Manager
Status: Non-Exempt
Job Type: Full Time
Management: The Fire Sprinkler Fitter/Foreman is responsible for managing team of Sprinkler Fitters, coordinating meetings with Geneal Contractors, coordinating team meetings, tracking project hours, and meeting with Clients when onsite to ensure smooth and efficient project completion.
Technical: Fire Sprinkler Fitter/Foreman responsibilities include cutting, threading, and assembling fire sprinkler systems to ensure they pass every fire inspection. Many sprinkler fitters take on additional duties as pipe fitters and install and repair piping not related to fire protection. This position requires how to safely operate a variety of tools, drills, saws, and wrenches, as well as be willing to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities
- Managing team of sprinkler fitters
- Keeping track of project and labor hours
- Coordinating meetings with General Contractors to review project scope
- Ensuring that the team is compliant with safety practices while on the job site
- Installing, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, and fire pumps as per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and local codes.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing existing fire protection systems to identify and repair malfunctions.
- Collaborating with fellow technicians and management to ensure efficient project completion
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Traveling to various customer locations within the assigned region
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong note-taking skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working in confined spaces
- Highschool diploma, or GED/equivalent; required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Foreman or Lead position
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the fire protection industry, preferably with experience in commercial and residential settings
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
