The Fire Sprinkler Helper will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- OSHA 10/30, blueprint reading, ability to read a tape measure, attention to detail, safety awareness.
- Assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
- Help with the maintenance and repair of existing fire sprinkler systems.
- Carry tools and materials, and prepare work areas for installation.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized worksite.
- Support the lead technician with tasks as needed, including cutting and threading pipes, drilling holes, and assembling system components.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Learn and adhere to company and industry standards for fire sprinkler systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
