What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Gate/ Guest Relations position at Rapids Water Park?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell daily admissions, processing season passes, and all other products
- Check all bags that enter the park and enforce all policies
- Receive payment by cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
- Upsell additional products
- Be knowledgeable of all current promotional offers
- Keep a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain the highest level of customer service standards
- Obtain knowledge of facility and amenities to assist customers
- Follow all park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Ability to operate a computer and electronic devices
- Basic math skills for balancing cash register
- Approachable, outgoing and excited about upselling
- Be aware, attentive, work well with others, and accept guidance and supervision
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays to meet business needs
- Be efficient, friendly, engaging, energetic, enthusiastic, and fun
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods
- Must follow guidelines on staying hydrated, eating properly, and using sunscreen
