What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parking Attendant position at Rapids Water Park?
No Experience Necessary - All Training Provided by Rapids Water Park
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic into lot and parking spaces
- Assist customers with street crossing
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Keep a safe and clean work environment
- Maintain the highest level of customer service standards
- Follow all park policies and procedures
- Receive payments by credit cards, vouchers or debit cards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years or older
- Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers and staff members
- Be aware, attentive, work well with others, and accept guidance and supervision
- Must be able to weekends and holidays to meet business needs
- Basic math skill needed to collect payment
- Be efficient, friendly, engaging, energetic, enthusiastic, and fun
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds.
- Must be able to endure work environments of excessive heat
- Must follow guidelines on staying hydrated, eating properly, and using sunscreen
