We're seeking a Software Engineer II, Frontend to build intuitive, visually engaging, and robust user interfaces that bridge the gap between complex technical solutions and real-world challenges. In this role, you'll work hands-on with cross-functional teams to develop our platform, integrating advanced and AI-driven features that enable rapid, data-driven decision-making in emergency situations. You'll collaborate closely with our teams to help ensure our interfaces are scalable, high-performing, and accessible while contributing to technical discussions and best practices.

What you'll do :
- Build new and innovative features for RapidSOS UNITE-a React-based application that handles an average of 400,000 emergency calls daily
- Engineer dynamic, responsive user interfaces for public safety systems that integrate aesthetics with intuitive, user-centric interactions'Collaborate closely with Product Designers to deliver exceptional user experiences while ensuring technical feasibility of UI / UX designs
- Work within the Engineering team to assess and enhance current applications, including refactoring code and upgrading technologies used
- Collaborate in an agile environment with stakeholders across Engineering, Public Safety, Design, and Product to develop frontend solutions for RapidSOS products
- Actively participate in code reviews and standups, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the continuous improvement of team processes
- Own meaningful parts of our platform, have an impact, grow with the company

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $145,000. This role will also be eligible to receive equity options. #LI-Remote
