We are seeking a full-time, experienced, and career minded Plant Manager with experience in a plant processing or manufacturing environment. Our ideal candidate is a working manager who is highly motivated, a self-starter, and is committed to safety and leading their team in a positive manner.
Core Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of 20 plant line employees including maintenance personnel in day-to-day operations
- Hiring, training, coaching, and separation of staff as necessary
- Promote and account for safe work practices and training
- Prioritize and multi-task manufacturing processes each day to meet production levels
- Maintain inventory levels to meet production needs
- Audit vendor contracts to maintain P&L budget requirements
- Liaise with regulatory agencies for on-site inspections
- Step into function-specific roles as necessary to continue production
- Collaborate with other members of the leadership team across different departments
- College degree in manufacturing or operations or 3 years on the job experience as equivalent
- Experience in the propane, natural gas, or refined fuels industry is preferred but not required
- Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Working knowledge of OSHA, DHS, and EPA standards
- In-depth experience with Process Safety Management
