POSITION SUMMARY :

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Responsible for supporting on-going operations and reports directly to the Department Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies.
  • Manages SACC employee certification files and client files
  • Ensures that all sites have supplies and other materials to effectively manage their programs
  • Manages employee scheduling coverage across all SACC sites.
  • Attends staff meetings and trainings.
  • Prepares SACC parent newsletter templates and other correspondence
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. One to two years related supervisory experience in customer service preferred.
  • Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate.
  • Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
  • OTHER REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must complete Praesidium within 7 days of hire date.
  • Within 30 days of hire completion of : Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; CPR, First Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens.
