What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Instructor position at Rappahannock Community College?
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five (5) or more years of occupational experience in electrical work and the ability to be credentialed as an NCCER Instructor for Electrical Levels 1 and 2, and Core.
- Candidates should possess sufficient technology skills to work productively in an organization that utilizes significant information and instructional technology resources.
- This position requires excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Candidates must be available to teach in person on the Glenns campus.
- Teaching experience in the discipline, Journeyman’s or Master level license in a related field.
- Ability to be credentialed as an NCCER Instructor for Electrical Levels 3 and 4.
The selected candidate’s offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation, which may include: fingerprint checks, local agency checks, employment verification, verification of education, credit checks (relevant to employment).
