Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief Grid Engineering Officer located in Fredericksburg, VA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Chief Grid Engineering Officer will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the electrical grid infrastructure. Responsibilities include supervising engineering teams, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the power grid, managing grid modernization projects, and collaborating with various departments to meet operational goals. This role also involves strategic planning to enhance grid performance and integrate new technologies.
Qualifications
- Electrical and Mechanical Engineering skills
- Experience in Military Operations and Military-related environments
- Background in Navy operations is beneficial
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in the utility industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
