Skills for Success:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program with current licensure by the state of VA
- Ability to manage a multi-task workload and multi-level caseload that is not always predictable
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides education and instruction to patient and families, as well as other health team members, to maximize a patient’s functional improvement.
- Serves as interdisciplinary clinical resource, demonstrating sound clinical judgment for development of treatment plans. Demonstrates the ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary team to support patient care needs.
- Demonstrates the ability to evaluate and assess the patient timely, based on principles outlined by practice guidelines, evidence-based guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Performs patient assessments and evaluations. Records and evaluates findings to establish and/or revise treatment plans as needed.
- Ensures state/federal, company policies and procedures as well as patient care standards are met.
