General Labor

• Job Title: General Labor-Industrial
• Shifts: 1st. Shift - Monday – Thursday 6:00AM-4:00 PM
• Shifts: 3rd. Shift - Monday – Thursday 8:00PM-6:00 AM
• LOCATION: ST. JOSEPH, MO 64504

Job Description:

“This job centers around general labor which may include housekeeping, running equipment, using a forklift, repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds, and anything else assigned to you. The work environment may be dusty/dirty and require bending, stooping, and twisting.”

• Must be able to follow direction & perform repetitive production activities.
• All training and instructions typically given on the job.
• Proficiency is attained in a short time on the job.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge and compliance of all safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of basic math, counting, etc.
• May occasionally use company computer equipment & systems.

Skills:

• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic Math.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and in group situations.
• Ability to pass forklift training test. WORKERS WILL NOT OPERATE FORKLIFT.
• Ability to work on feet for prolonged periods of time in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to follow instruction.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is not required but preferred
• Steel Toed Shoes Required.

Job Types: Temp-to-hire, Contract

Pay: $17.37 - $19.25 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Saint Joseph, MO 64504: Relocate before starting work (Required)
