This role will be responsible for motivating the large and growing market of content creators and enterprise publishers to join Raptive.
We are the best partner for creators and publishers - large and small - to build their businesses, and this role’s job will be to ensure the market understands that and is ready to take action to join us.
With a strong starting point of over 5,600 creators and enterprise publishers across diverse industry verticals and with hundreds of millions of monthly visitors to their websites, Raptive has the ability to exponentially grow our business. This role will strategize, build and scale marketing programs that enable that growth.
The scope of this role will be across 3 main components:
- Demand generation for creator growth. This involves strategically engaging our pool of tens of thousands of prospects to stimulate them to apply to join Raptive. This can be through email, social media, search, sponsorships, live events, podcasts, videos and more.
- Sales enablement for creator growth. This involves partnering with our Strategic Communications, Product Marketing and Creator Growth sales teams to shape compelling messaging, create sales experiences, and develop sales collateral.
- Sales enablement for enterprise growth. Similar to creator growth, but partnering with our Enterprise sales team to shape the messages and create the experiences that will help those sellers close deals.
This role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, drive results, and influence the direction of the four-person team. This role will report directly to the Chief Innovation Officer.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, execute and optimize a multi-channel strategy to drive new qualified leads and support Raptive’s Creator Growth and Enterprise Publisher Development teams.
- Own and maintain the Ideal Customer Profile framework, including a deep understanding of creator and publisher needs and segments.
- Oversee competitive intelligence - develop specific strategies and unique selling propositions (USPs) vs. key competitors, partnering with Strategic Communications and Product Marketing on messaging.
- Develop and execute demand generation campaigns that bring on board thousands of new creators a year.
- Partner with the SVP of Creator Growth and VP of Enterprise Sales to deeply understand the sellers' needs.
- Partner with Marketing Operations to understand and analyze prospect profiles in order to segment and tailor campaigns.
- Optimize marketing workflows to nurture leads and drive conversions.
- Oversee the planning and execution of 6-10 owned and sponsored events each year, with ownership of the event content, partnering with Integrated Marketing on logistics and creative activations.
- Partner with the Strategic Communications team to translate corporate messages to sales messages that are customized to key prospects.
- Actively oversee email marketing at scale.
- Confidently experiment and scale other channels.
- Create and maintain sales collateral (e.g., pitch decks, case studies, objection handling guides).
- Ensure the Raptive website reflects selling messages and that the application form optimizes conversion rates.
- Bring new ideas, fresh thinking, and a ‘test and learn’ mentality.
- Report on, analyze and continuously improve all of the above.
- KPIs include meetings booked, closed creators / publishers, revenue booked
The skills and experience you bring to the job:
- 10 years of marketing experience, with progressive increases in responsibilities
- Experience with SMB and enterprise customers
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is highly desirable.
- Experience in content verticals such as food, home decor, parenting and travel is a plus.
- Proven track record of delivering customer growth in a creator, publisher, adtech or services business
- Leadership in demand generation and sales enablement, including:
- Strategy development
- Email marketing
- Multi-channel marketing
- Website lead capture / application conversion optimization
- Events and sponsorships
- Persona / ICP development
- Competitive analysis
- Copyrighting
- Strong strategic, cross-functional and operational leadership, capable of delivering on complex projects and inspiring and motivating teams.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to internal stakeholders, partners and prospects.

The base salary range for this position is $170,000-$210,000. The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation that isn’t included in the posted range.
