Aggregate Sales Representative

Department:            Sales

Job Title:                  Aggregate Sales Representative

Work Schedule:      Day shift, flexible hours. Overtime as required.

Full or Part Time:   Full time only

Reports to:               Sales Manager

Salary:                       $90K - $110K DOE

 

Job Description:

Provide quality and timely customer service by handling sales calls, addressing basic questions and concerns on aggregates and concrete sales. Focus on tasks and be able to handle interruptions and changes in priorities while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactively & strategically shape results by knowing your customers and the market better than anyone.
  • Leverage a structured sales approach that helps you manage territory and deliver the right product to the right customer at the right price.
  • Be committed to your customers and create an experience that establishes Raptor Materials LLC as the easiest and most reliable construction materials provider.
  • Effectively manage and maintain existing customers and projects while continue to develop and work new customers and projects.
  • Actively maintain customer interactions and strategies through sales planning and documentation of market and territory development.
  • Support a strong team culture by engaging in team meetings that drive alignment and team success.
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Staying informed about completing products and services.
  • Achieving sales targets

Knowledge:

  • Sales/marketing experience, preferable in a construction materials environment or significant aggregate and concrete technical experience and knowledge.
  • Construction market and industry knowledge an asset.
  • Has brought value to the customer by listening to their needs, being responsive, and earning trust daily. Proven track record demonstrating revenue, volume, and profitability growth.
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with solid organizational, multi-tasking and time-management capabilities.
  • Prefer business to business sales and customer service experience.

Work Environment:

  • Role operates primarily a professional office environment but requires conducting business at locations, and job sites where the conditions include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels,
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Raptor Materials LLC, approved Personal Protection Equipment & PPE, including but not limited to respirators

Qualifications:

  • Must have basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Geographical knowledge of the Colorado area and the ability to read maps and communicate directions
  • Must be a positive team player
  • A background in customer service is a plus

Occasional weekends at shows or with customers, breakfasts earlier as needed; dinners in the evening as needed. Overnight travel and air travel as needed.
