Account Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Account Specialist to join our roofing company’s team. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a fundamental desire to understand how components work together in roofing systems and processes. As an Account Specialist, you will be responsible for writing roofing bids, coordinating with insurance companies, scheduling jobs, invoicing clients and insurance companies, and resolving project and billing challenges. The ideal candidate will have the ability to follow direction precisely and implement tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, detailed roofing bids that align with client needs and project specifications.
• Work closely with insurance companies to ensure claims are documented and processed correctly.
• Schedule roofing jobs and coordinate resources to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Invoice clients and insurance companies accurately and follow up on outstanding payments as needed.
• Analyze and resolve challenges that arise on job sites, with billing, or in project coordination.
• Ensure all tasks are executed precisely according to company procedures and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of bids, invoices, client interactions, and project progress in CRM software.
• Continuously seek to understand how roofing systems and company processes interconnect, using that knowledge to improve client outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset for identifying and addressing challenges.
• Exceptional de-escalation skills to manage and resolve conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism and fostering positive client relationships.
• A genuine interest in understanding how systems and components work together to achieve results.
• Experience in roofing, construction, or a related industry, including writing bids, working with insurance claims, and invoicing, is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and project management tools.
• A team player who takes direction well and consistently implements tasks with precision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
