YOUR DAY
As a Commercial Plumber - Journeyman, you play a crucial role in completing new build and remodel plumbing projects in the commercial sector. You oversee and train apprentices and helpers, sharing your expertise and helping them develop their skills. You're also responsible for monitoring the progress of your assigned jobs, ensuring thorough job documentation, and maintaining compliance with contractual agreements and safety regulations. You take pride in a job well done and thrive in this role as a Commercial Plumber.
This full-time plumbing position works Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
REQUIREMENTS
- PL01 license in Washington
- Experience in commercial plumbing
- Ability to work on prevailing wage jobs
- Knowledge of UPC for application in both Washington and Idaho
- Working knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Capable of supervising and training apprentices
- Ability to complete projects without direct supervision
- Ability to climb ladders, carry heavy equipment and material, crouch, kneel, bend at knees and hips, and lift items above your head
Preferred qualifications:
- PL01 license in Washington and Journeyman license in Idaho
- 5 years of experience
