Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a dual Bridal Stylist / Social Media Assistant at Rare Bridal Bar in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves assisting clients one on one as a Bridal Stylist and managing social media platforms to promote the brand and engage with customers. Primary focus will be working one on one with brides, social media planning, content creation, and assisting with other marketing projects including weekly blog posts and monthly email newsletters. Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a passion for all things weddings, bridal, and fashion, loves to help people, and enjoys being both behind and in front of the camera.
Responsibilities
- Create fun, informative, engaging on brand video and photo content for our social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
- Meet weekly with owner to pitch marketing plans and create content calendar
- Respond to messages, engage with followers, and continue to grow our social media community
- Become a valuable source of knowledge about shopping for a bridal gown, helping answer brides' questions about when/where to shop, gown designers, alterations, etc.
- Attend Chicago Bridal Market twice a year and capture all the behind the scenes to share with our followers (based on performance, may also attend New York Bridal Fashion Week twice a year)
- Train on all responsibilities of a bridal stylist and take appointments maintaining a 60% closing ratio
- Create a 5-star experience for our brides their group from initial phone call to preserving their gown after the big day
- Attend bi-weekly team meetings/trainings to stay up to date on events and changes happening in the shop
Qualifications
- Passionate about inclusivity and celebrating all love
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Minimum of 1 year experience with social media strategy and marketing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Preference for working in a fast-paced, woman-run, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Love for learning, personal growth, and willingness to change/adapt in order to succeed
- Preference will be given to candidates with bridal experience, but is not required
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the team long term and are hopeful the right fit will move into a leadership role on the marketing team within one year of employment.
