We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Canvassers. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with the community, promoting our initiatives, and gathering valuable feedback. As a Canvasser, you will play a crucial role in our outreach efforts, helping to raise awareness and support for our cause. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage potential supporters and gather information.
- Communicate effectively with community members to promote our initiatives and goals.
- Utilize customer service skills to address inquiries and provide information about our organization.
- Market our programs and services while building relationships within the community.
- Negotiate support and participation from individuals in various campaigns or events.
- Assist in fundraising efforts by encouraging donations or volunteer sign-ups.
- Supervise small teams during canvassing events to ensure effective outreach strategies are implemented.
- Participate in electioneering efforts when applicable, helping to mobilize voters.
Agents will be assigned locations in proximity to their homes, Gas cards will be provided and reloaded weekly If other travel or logistics costs are needed , we will work with the agent to organize these logistics and cover additional costs Travel will be approved on a case by case basis GPS enabled app Daily door minimums will need to be met ( depends on city and state ) with a minimum 20% contact rate, thus will be audited by the company 48 hours later Low performers will be terminated.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or fundraising is preferred but optional.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as language skills enhance community engagement.
- Familiarity with door-to-door canvassing techniques is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Experience in supervising teams or leading outreach initiatives is beneficial.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
